Joshua made us all burst into laughter the other night. His sister was chasing him with an old Teletubby card and he ran to the closet in his room. Trying to tell her that he was too old for such foolishness he stuck out his leg and exclaimed,
" See these manly leg hairs-they do Not want to be brought back to childhood!"

Good joke
Joshua told us this one: What has no beginning, no end, and no middle? Caprial told us this one: What do you call a dog with a fever? We laughed it is great to have a quick clean joke on hand. Ready for the answers: a doughnut, a hotdog. Ha Ha Ha have a good day today!

Sae-Sae
Caprial, what a girl!
I love the fact that Caprial is constantly thinking of a project, planning her next project, or actively engrossed in a project. I find myself using my mother's words-"measure twice, cut once," or "clean as you go," or " don't worry we can fix that" Love comes from papers cut in shreds and crayons littering the floor and glue stuck to the kitchen table and string, yarn, ribbon tied in multiple tight knots.

Fail fast so...
I am thankful for Will's job-he has one and it's still paying bills-the necessary ones anyway. The thrift store is a great idea in the wrong time. Lots of people visit to drop off items, many say it's good to have a thrift shop in Idaho City (for those that need it-not them of course) some people browse and say oh how nice...most go to Boise instead. The store will be closed at the end of the month. It was a good try and Will and I had a good experience with working together on a project. "Fail fast so you may succeed sooner." seems to be our motto for this, and I don't mind the opportunity to learn and grow from mistakes. Thank goodness we don't have to try and live off the income from the shop.---perhaps we will try again in the spring, with a different project. I have enjoyed working with Will and his exactly, completely opposite viewpoints. We ended up laughing most of the time about how suprisingly "wrong" we thought the other was being. I look forward to having one less item on my too-full plate.

knitters unite!
Honesty
Saeli and Caprial were busy cleaning this morning (to earn extra money) Saeli was singing away in our bathroom so I went in to check as I was putting some laundry away and asked, " How are you doing Saeli?" She answered, " I'm cleaning Dad's side of the sink,....I'm Brave!" I laughed so hard She's a braver woman than I am. I let Dad clean his own. She earned a whopping 35cents for that little chore. Lots of little coins are very rewarding immediately after each little task.

Life is good.
It is good to get back to school. We are really loving the slow morning, good breakfast, and gobs of activities that come with home schooling. All the kids are doing well and it is fun to see them learning and succeeding. If I can relax and keep everyone focused and re directed this will be a good year. Andrew especially likes watching all the action and is a good break for the kids in between lessons. Joshua has expanded his PE program to include "Baby Yoga" it's a lot harder than you think! My camera isn't working right now (Drat!) so pictures will be coming as soon as I can figure it out. We are still working hard to get Hagglers-the thrift store up and running. Monday we will put in shelving and haul more inventory over to sort and display. Thank you Gma Ruth for the package, so needed, it is like you can read my mind sometimes-the little green cups and the paper plates and napkins, the ribbons-wow! Thank you gma&gpa B. for the babysitting and break before school and your packages. Life is good.

Hagglers$a thrift shop
Many of you know, Will and I are preparing to open a thrift store called Hagglers by October 1st. things are going well. we are getting our inventory built up, the shop cleaned up, and set up. Andrew has his own play pen in the back and the girls are already adept at grabbing hangers and running things to the racks. Joshua put together a set of small stacking shelves for me. Our Family Business is exciting. I'll soon post photos for all to see. (I was so busy I forgot the camera the last couple trips to the shop) We welcome any donations of clean resellable items and we are always in need of hangers:) Hope to see you stop by some day.

Caprial Says-
"Mom, I don't like odd numbers. Except when there's an odd number of kids and an odd number of candy; that way it evens out."
