Saeli's Lost...

...a tooth. Her first one. She has waited for this day and boy was she excited. Saeli has the misconception that the tooth fairy is like santa. She is busy compiling a wish list of toy requests for delivery! What is the going rate for teeth these days? 5 cents?-Ha Ha!

If everyone on earth yawned at the same time...what would it sound like?

Saeli

Why can't I be a princess and rule the world some day? Anything can happen when you're six.

waiting for baby-Ducks

Pregnancy affects both men and women, but differently. While waiting for our baby's due date to arrive we both got bored. So, naturally we bought some baby ducks to raise. They are Will's Boys. Very entertaining and good "responsibility training" for the kids who have to take care of them when dad goes to work.

Ode to Onions

Back in the beginning of the hot dog days my services were required to help with the prep work for Willie's Alla Carte (didn't know our business name did ya?) The resulting Ode to Onions comes from finding humor in unpleasant circumstances: Every weekend I go on a date, but it's not with the man who is married to me. I have to work. The date's with my boss, who makes me chop onions-for free. Two hours this process will take. If I'm careful, don't make a mistake. I slice each onion three times. I peel them, bag them, and cry. I beg my boss to find someone new. But, he insists I'm the best and says, "It's all up to you." So I push my sleeves up. Set a song in my head and work clear through to the end. After I'm done I clean up and sigh. My boss gives me the wink of the eye. I reassure it wasn't so bad. I was tougher than I thought. However, next week I am going on strike. The onions will just have to Rot! If you're down town on weekends and stop by the cart-put a tip in the jar for me. Because the Onions don't cut themselves and the work isn't done Magical-ly!
(now Will buys pre chopped onions, so don't feel too sorry for me)

The Amazing Andrew!

Thirty six diapers in three minutes. My laundry origami record! Not an accomplishment I would have ever dreamed of just 1 short year ago. Our family was "complete" rolling along just fine, but the Good Lord had plans for us. A gentle nudging then undeniable experiences led us to try for a baby again. A revoltingly easy task for any rowdy teen who completly misunderstands the implications, but for me; no small feat. After waiting and miscarraige and waiting and another miscarraige, more waiting and again...more loss? No wow, no!!! we were, well I was, pregnant and still pregnant. A blessing was given. I clung to the words no worry and full term. Andrew waited for a special day and came quickly in our home with his dad catching. Amazing!!!
