The Bubble Snake

Saeli is trying out a project called the foamenator from Family Fun magazine. It works beautifully! Simply take an old water bottle, cut the end off, cover with a piece of old towel, secure with a rubber band, dip in bubble solution, and blow gently and continuously...summer fun.

Joshua's baskets

Joshua just turned 12yrs. and had the chance to go to Boy Scout Camp this year for the first time. He says he loved it! Joshua made these baskets to complete a merit badge. He is also finishing one by finding 20 different species of birds. He is having a good summer so far.

Happy Birthday Joshua!!! Today my first baby is 12 yrs old. Joshua is kind and good and helpful and wonderful. I love and appreciate him. Our Dad is always bringing home unusual "livestock" this time it was bees, complete with honey. We had tons of fun learning about how to process our raw honey. It is soooooo good too-Yum!

New hair, New dress, New kids

Saeli decided that it would be great to cut her own hair. Both girls got new do's and I fired up the old sewing machine to curse my way through these (seemingly) simple play dresses. I may not be a beautician or a seamstress, but my girls thought I was the Best Mom in the Universe for a whole day!!!
